If you own the V1.0 trainers, then you're going to love these. You're not interested in more comfort or padding, then the V1.0's are still the perfect pair for you. I personally enjoy these because it allows me to rotate between the two. If i'm doing more bar or accessory work, I can use the V1's or the V2's. But if i'm heading in for a heavy day, then the V2's are a must.
